CBS Early Show covers the loss of billions of taxpayer dollars in Department of Energy loans to failed ‘green energy’ companies across the United States. CBS News – January 13, 2012
by Danny McL
This section report focuses on specific companies that have developed, or are developing, low-carbon products and services for consumers – primarily for use in the home. Specifically, it considers opportunities for micro-generation, hydrogen fuel cells and green energy companies. It also tested consumer reaction, in Canada, England and the USA, to a description of a micro-CHP boiler, based on the Ceres Power prototype, shown below:
(Looking much like a typical home boiler, it is compact and designed to be mounted on a wall. It converts natural gas piped into the home into heat and electricity. It can provide all the hot water and central heating required in a typical home as well as much of the electricity. Since the electricity is created at the home, it is created at two or three times the efficiency of the electricity provided by power stations which have to travel through large distribution networks.
- This hydrogen fuel-cell boiler is designed to save more than 25% on the total energy bills compared to the best current gas boilers.
- It does not require any lifestyle changes – the connections and maintenance contracts will be the same as for existing gas boilers.
- Please assume that any excess electricity that you produce can be sold to your electricity provider.)
How well known are the ‘green energy’ providers in each country?
Of those people aware of the providers, how many use them, or intend to use them in the near future?
What are people’s attitudes towards fuel-cell technology being used in different situations?
How do people react to this product profile of a micro-CHP boiler?
What proportion of people are ‘Enthusiasts’ for the micro-CHP boiler – find it ‘very appealing’ and say they are ‘very likely to install’ one once their current boiler needed replacing?
What is the best predictor of whether someone is an ‘Enthusiast’ for the micro-CHP boiler?

The world has been noticing alternative energy companies over the last few years. Why, you may ask.The answer is “for many reasons.”
Reason #1: Petroleum products as an energy source create pollution.
Reason #2: Alternative energy companies strive to create pollution free energy.
Reason #3: People fear the danger and instability of nuclear power.
Reason #4: Alternative energy companies strive to use the forces of nature to create energy.
Reason #5: Fossil fuels are a non-renewable source of energy.
Reason #6: Since alternative energy companies use nature to create energy, it is an endlessly renewable source.
Reason #7: The profits from conventional power is cyclicle; they may surge when supplies are short and fall when supplies are great.
Reason #8: Alternative energy companies continue to grow as new technologies are discovered.
There are strong feelings among the public that alternative energy companies will dominate the future of energy creation. Right now, it appears that the oil companies are reaping all the profits.
But the world sees that technological growth is the key to the future. Companies such as Microsoft have set the standard that advances only come through change.
Outdated, inefficient methods must be discarded and new technologies introduced. This is how technology will affect the future. And alternative energy companies will control that technology.
The public is willing to pay for cutting edge discoveries. As the costs of traditional energy continues to sky-rocket, alternative energy companies will be the ones to benefit as they supply alternate technologies to fossil fuel.
Alternative energy companies offer a chance for the world to not only survive, but to grow. For, if things remain the same, we will not be able to continue growing, or, we can grow but burn up all our energy. As we grow using fossil fuels, we are poisoning the earth.
Alternative energy companies can offer a solution that does not require a choice between survival and growth. As we look more and more to nature, we can find better methods to create energy.
Alternative energy companies will use the mechanism of capitalism to create energy through alternate sources.
If each person used nature to create energy, it would take years for the concept to grow. But alternative energy companies rally resources of many to make it happen faster. They are uniting these resources into one whole. They are not only interested in discovering alternative fuel sources, but also in promoting their use. The discovery of these alternates is meaningless if they are not used.
Alternative energy companies inform people of the benefits of alternative energy and try to convince them to use it. If they are able to make a profit in the meantime, all the better. Correct?
Alternative energy companies are striving to have the world recognize that continued use of traditional energy is wrong. They will do this by showing us the “alternate”. They supply the solution to the “don’t grow or grow and burnout” dilemma.
As in a storm, if you move away from the center, conditions worsen; the closer you stay focused in the center, the safer you will be.

A Look at Alternative Energy Companies
The recent rise in gasoline prices and heating fuels as well as concerns as to how long the dwindling supply of fossil fuels will last and an intense desire to reduce dependence on foreign fuels for our energy needs people have been turning more and more towards alternative energy sources. In order to meet the demands of the public searching for alternative energy suppliers and resources many alternative energy companies have formed.
Arxiel is a company that specializes in creating and expanding clean renewable energy ventures and works with top business leaders technology partners and financial partners all across the world to help develop strategies to update their energy systems. They work with the best solar technology to provide electricity heating systems and cooling systems for primarily the Sun Belt countries of the world.
Another one of the alternative energy companies that is providing renewable energy resources is Alternative Energy Limited located in Singapore. Alternative Energy Limited was originally started to work on investing in, and developing, energy technologies. They also work with businesses and companies that offer alternatives to fossils fuels. Alternative Energy Limited is listed on the Alternative Investment Market in London and works in several aspects of alternative energy including solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind energy, small wind power, and small scale hydro power. They also focus on special markets depending on geography and direct applications.
One of the leading alternative energy companies in the United Stets is Eco Energy in Illinois. Eco Energy is a part of the Morse Group of Companies. They deal in wind, biomass, biomethane, and solar energy and work to get alternative energy projects completed from start to finish. They handle all aspects and phases of a project and specialize in energy project development, design, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance, as well as customer support.
The Alternative Energy Store is one of the alternative energy companies that specialize in offering top notch alternative energy resources such as hydropower supplies, kits and package deals, portable power equipment, solar air heating devices, solar panels, inverters, and wind systems. Their motto is making renewable do-able and they strive to meet all of their customers needs as well as offering education on alternative energy sources and uses.
There are many other top quality alternative energy companies that specialize in meeting all the needs of consumers searching for alternative energy equipment and supplies. When researching alternative energy companies be sure to check a companies policies and ask questions to be sure that they are knowledgeable in their field and are willing to stand behind the products that they sell.
