Danish govt. to fund green energy in Kenya

www.ntv.co.ke The Danish Government has committed itself to funding Kenya as the country expands its green energy portfolio. The Scandinavian country’s Trade and Investment minister Pia Olsen Dyhr said in Nairobi today that Denmark will increase investment in Wind generated energy. This is expected to boost Kenya’s quest towards reliable and affordable energy, a move that could lower the cost of doing business besides possibly leading to a drop in your power bill. Trade and investment only, no foreign aid please. It will be eaten and we will have to pay for it by selling our oil cheaply. Just beware the country’s risk profile has gone down with oil discovery and everybody will be willing to lend to us in foreign currency. Treasury is borrowing $600M from foreign banks at 7% rather than 4% for frontier markets above the Libor 0.5%. Mtalipa na hio oil.
